2022 Project Summary
A grant of £1000 to support the construction of a toilet block and hand washing facility in Mtenjera secondary school, Lunzu, Blantyre.
Lawrence Kumpama from Mzati Youth reported that the FOMA grant enabled the building of six toilets blocks, 3 rooms for female learners and 3 rooms for male learners. All toilets are now functional and the 365 learners at the school are benefiting from better standards of sanitation. The project also supplied buckets to the school to ease cleaning of the toilets and also for hand washing purposes.
