Project Summary
A grant of £1000 to support the M’mera Mpoyamba Project involving construction of a child development centre in Golozera, Ntcheu.
Enock Mbewe, Executive Director of Chamanza Youth Organisation said the aim of the project is to help provide meaningful, affordable and accessible early child development education that will help prepare children for primary education. The community are contributing labour, land and bricks while the FOMA grant will be spent on cement, iron roofing sheets, roofing nails and timbers.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the buildling project stalled for a period of time and Chamanza Youth Organisation had to approach community leaders to collaborate in sourcing additional funds to complete the project. An updated on progress is awaited.
