2024 Project Summary
A grant of £1000 to support the renovation of 10 shallow well in Tukombo, Nhkata Bay.
Khumbo Mafulek, Manager of Pamudzi Pathu Initiative says that this project aims to bring clean, safe water to over 1000 people in 5 villages. The FOMA grant will help purchase construction materials while the community will provide sand, water and labour. Water Management Committees will provide ongoing monitoring and maintenance for the boreholes.

2022 Project Summary
A grant of £1000 to support the construction of 10 shallow wells for villages in Kazoola, Lilongwe.
Khumbo Mafulek, Manager of Pamudzi Pathu Initiative says that this WASH (water, sanitation, hygiene) project will help in reducing the cholera outbreak that has hit Malawi. The FOMA grant will help supply cement, bricks, lime, shallow well covers, chlorine and paint. The community will provide sand, water and labour to help in the construction.
This project was successfully completed and the Kazoola community are now accessing safe quality water.
